Eyeless in Gaza is a bestselling novel by Aldous Huxley, first published in 1936. The title originates from a phrase in John Milton's Samson Agonistes:. Promise was that I. Should Israel from Philistian yoke deliver; Ask for this great deliverer now, and find him. Eyeless in Gaza at the Mill with slaves.

Hearing how the band tested out new arrangements, unusual melodies, and a persistent, low-key reinvention makes a great object lesson for how expanding ambitions can work rather than causing someone to artistically stumble.

Talk about Eyeless In Gaza - Invisibility

Munimand
This may not be the most sophisticated of Bates n Beckers' recordings, but it is almost certainly the most passionate. Starting quietly against a stuttering sequencer rhythm, this spirals upwards, ever-intensifying until it spews to its crescendo. Whatever it is that Martyn is singing about comes from the heart, ripped through the ragged torn rib cage of human feeling, dripping in pain, emotional as nerve endings on fire. At the time this was released, EIG were working at such a pace that whenever a record was released, the tracks had already been dropped from the live set - the urgency to communicate suffocating professional reason.
