Life (KRS-One album). Studio album by KRS-One. Life is the eighth album released by KRS-One, and the eighth after abandoning the Boogie Down Productions name. The album is a collaboration with Tunnel Rats affiliates The Resistance, a little known production team, and Footsoldiers.

Life is another dope KRS release. Not too long and not too short, not too much interludes to break the flow of the album and all the ingredients we can expect from the Blastmaster: mostly good (if not great) beats and clever lyrics with a message to be found everywhere. Standout tracks include I Am There, Woke Up, Gimme Da Gun, Freedom, F-cked Up, Still Slippin', I Ain’t Leavin' and I’m On The Mic. The best song is the album’s closer, My Life, where KRS details his life and longevity in Hip Hop. Life is just another testament to KRS One’s longevity.

KRS-One has always been a socially conscious rapper, tackling different subjects throughout his career, most of which relate to problems that face many urban dwellers, especially black ones. But in Life, race is an issue he chooses not to tackle; in fact, he makes a point to mention that specifically. I am hip-hop/I don't speak for blacks," he states in "Still Slippin'," understanding that his art has the ability to reach a large demographic (something he also addresses in "I'm on the Mic").

At the 2008 BET Awards, KRS-One was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for all his work and effort towards the Stop the Violence Movement as well as the overall pioneering of hip-hop music and culture. His wife is G. Simone. Apodos: Big Joe Krash, Blastmaster (2), Lawrence Krisna Parker, The Teacha. Variaciones: Verlas todas KRS-One.

KRS-One is politically active, having started the Stop the Violence Movement, after the death of Scott La Rock. This is the discography of hip hop musician KRS-One. Life (KRS-One album). Life is the eighth album released by KRS-One. The album is a collaboration with Tunnel Rats affiliates The Resistance and Footsoldiers. Now Hear This may refer to: Now Hear This (film), a 1963 cartoon film. Now Hear This (The Hi-Lo's album), a 1957 album by The Hi-Lo's. Now Hear This (Duke Pearson album), a 1968 album by jazz pianist Duke Pearson

KRS-One rose to prominence as part of the group Boogie Down Productions, following the release of the groups debut album, Criminal Minded, La Rock was shot dead, but KRS-One continued the group, effectively as a solo project. He began releasing records under his own name in 1993, KRS-One is politically active, having started the Stop the Violence Movement, after the death of Scott La Rock. The notable rivalries discussed include KRS-One vs. MC Shan, Kool Moe Dee vs. Busy Bee,50 Cent vs. Murder Inc Records, Tru Life vs. Mobb Deep and it was partly born out of producer Joness belief that Beefs are killing hip-hop. Many prominent hip-hop personalities such as Russell Simmons, Snoop Dogg, Kool Moe Dee, Jay-Z, KRS-One, Mack 10, DMX, Beef also features newly released performances by many musical artists.
