Album : Reunion Año: 1975. MIGUELITO VALDES babalu-aye - Продолжительность: 4:01 Prof.
It is hard to believe that decades after his start, years after his peak, Miguelito Valdes could sing this well, this compellingly, this appropriately. The match could not be better, for while it was Xavier Cugat who brought "Mr. Babalu" to stardom, Machito was the leading exponent of Afro-Cuban music. But Reunion is not one of those searing-trumpet Machito albums. The setting is understated and ideal for bringing out everything that Valdes had been keeping in store.
