Porcupine Tree are at the height of their powers. Double LP in Gatefold Jacket "Fear of a Blank Planet" was the first PT album I heard, and it did take two or three replays for me to recognize the undeniable greatness that this album represents. But, once I did truly HEAR and understand the 'concept' behind this music - the thematic elements tying together the lyrics; the complex interrelated song structures - I realized that all of these component parts weave a multi-leveled tapestry of bold beauty. Most certainly, this album is one of the best Progressive Rock productions of 2007. It may be PT's best album overall.
