The Serbian folk singer Mirjana Beširević sang "Ne idi" at Jugovizija 86, as an entry from TV Belgrade. The original version was arranged by Franjo Jenč and it is the only version that is included on many compilations, including "Pesma Evrovizije 1981-2006" and Rade Radivojević's "Ljubim vas pesmama" (all versions). The Yugoslav finals for the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 were held on March 7th at the 'Boro i Ramiz' Hall in Priština, hosted by Enver Petrovci.

Mirjana and Silvana died in a car crash. Her career reached its peak in 1974 with the songs "Doletjeće bijeli golub" and "Ne zovi me, ja ti neću doći". She eventually landed a professional singing career which led way to Mirsada getting a record deal and recording her first album at the age of eighteen in 1969 and releasing it on 18 February 1970. In 1975, after five years of releasing extended plays and singles, Bajraktarević released her first full-length studio album, Imala sam drugaricu (I Had a Friend).
