Apocalypse Dudes is the fourth album by the Norwegian band Turbonegro. It is the first studio album with Euroboy as the lead guitarist and the last before the band disbanded in December 1998. Released in early 1998 in Norway and Germany, the album was a huge success for the then underground band.

When other European rockers of the '90s were being influenced by Pearl Jam, Sevendust, or Radiohead, Oslo, Norway's Turbonegro decided to provide a throwback to the decadent, hedonistic glam metal, heavy metal, and hard rock of the '70s and '80s.

Apocalypse Dudes is Turbonegro's watershed album. While their previous album, ss Cobra, marked a subtle evolution from their more boisterous early punk efforts, Apocalypse Dudes cements – and arguably perfects – their trademark sound. Euroboy was very much the missing piece of the Turbonegro puzzle.

Turbonegro Format: Vinyl. A good album should musically be good. AD has some of the best music you will ever hear. Not this 3 chord bs, nor the hubris of Phish. At the same time, the music itself is part of the brilliance. Solos (insanely fast ones at that) dot the album. They're literally everywhere. Yet, at the same time, that's the point. Apocalypse Dudes' is a Teutonic metal album obsessed with gay sex. Does it "out-Spinal Tap Spinal Tap"? It does.
