Dibbs has become one of the most respected and innovative turntablist/dj style producers in the game. When the Invisibl Skratch Piklz get asked what break records are among their most used, Mr. Dibbs Unearthed series is always listed as a must have for any turntablist. The Unearthed record series has also been the break record of choice by Mixmaster Mike and too many others to mention. Comprised of two tracks from a live set by the Cincinnati DJ along with three studio tracks, Live in Memphis is not a groundbreaking turntablist recording - which isn't to say that it's not enjoyable. Mr. Dibbs may rely on too many well-known samples, but his beats and transitions are strong and he keeps the live set moving. The three studio tracks are throwaways, two of which already appeared on other compilations. As a result, they sound more like experiments (or, if you're not feeling kind, jokes) than actual songs.

Dibbs (born Brad Forste) is an American DJ and hip hop producer. He is the co-founder and co-owner of Self Core Records and the founder of the turntablist collective 1200 Hobos. Notes

Self-released version, most likely released before the other two versions as it has a more "home made" looking cover: full color insert with pic of Dibbs DJing, with "Mr. Dibbs" and "Live In Memphis and other specimens" on the front, and "Mr. Dibbs Live In Memphis" on the spine. Sticker label on side A of a Sony 60 minute tape with track list (as seen above). No label on side B. The punctuation on the label is strange, so it's possible that the final track on side B is "Judas Transmission Inst," not as seen above.
