The Galileo Seven" is the sixteenth episode of the first season of the American science fiction television series, Star Trek. Written by Oliver Crawford and directed by Robert Gist, it first aired on January 5, 1967. In the episode First Officer Spock leads a scientific team from the Enterprise aboard the shuttlecraft Galileo on an ill-fated mission. Inspired by the film Five Came Back, it featured the debut of the shuttlecraft.

On November 10, 2017, The Galileo 7 release their fifth album of garage pop psych tunes, Tear Your Minds Wide Open. There are 12 songs on the album with two of them, One Lie at a Time and The God of Gaps, having appeared on their 2015 single. The Galileo 7 have captured the essence of a 60s/70s garage psych album on Tear Your Minds Wide Open. All but three of the songs have a similar sound with the tight four-part vocal harmonies (or is it a harmonizer?), fuzzed guitars, trippy organ, and tight drumming. The songs on Tear Your Minds Wide Open are not as varied as those on their last album False Memory Lane. The music is best taken in small doses, otherwise you can OD on too much of a good thing.
