(Mother Father Sister Brother)The B side should really correctly sate M.F.S.B. and make no mention of the All Stars that did the session vocals to this backing track on the vocal version on the Philly Int. 7" and 12" Album. The USA 12" Promo.....another story.......Morgan Khan's Streetwave label release also features the Philly Int. All Stars on the vocals.Just be aware you won't hear Lou Rawls, Teddy Pendergrass, Billy Paul, The Three Degrees etc on this release! + The bar code on the side in question looks pants.

The type setter made a silly error MOTW is the instrumental LCUTG is vocalThis is an excellent coupling and was released after Philly Int. went into administration (after their brief stint with Capitol USA and EMI-Philly Int. UK) What a real treat is to see that factually Philly Went home UK wise as this is a typical CBS UK pressing and just before Sony Music Entertainment Inc bought Columbia Inc out.LCUTG came out USA wise only as a 12" promo single and quite rare and pricey it came out UK wise as a 12" licenced by DJ/Emprosario Morgan Khan on his Streetwave Label also coincidentally also pressed by CBS UK Aylesbury, naturally this 12" nice as it is, has no street cred because of the naff* at the time label!So to finally be able to have this on the Olive Philly Int. label in the UK is heaven. and a lot lot cheaper than the USA promo only 12"MOTW is also an absolute gem of a track getting the "gang" together to cut one final album was just magical. The album is a MFSB gem too!*Kahn redeemed himself dramatically when he was able to do a direct deal with CBS UK and license the best cuts from the entire Philly Int. catalog (only leaving out 2 gems and used a seriously wrong 1st mix on 1, IMHO. MFSB "Picnic In The Park" & Peoples Choice "Moving In All Directions" and naturally The Tom Moulton mix of The O' Jays "I Love Music" ,but hey-ho what do I know!), and put out a massive and absolute must have 20 album box set. The big plus being was that all the tracks were in their un-edited and complete full versions. However all was not rosey in the garden, The price was way, way over the top, The set also came out foolishly on Cassette too (using basic quality thin tape for double play, the tapes shedding masses of the brown oxide, the Dolby B encoding did not compensate or hide hissssss world, or the need for using a head cleaning tape frequently, how many tapes un spooled in the car!), The vinyl was pressed by MPO in France and shipped in wafer thin die-cut sleeves, (Naturally vastly cheaper than CBS' rates) the records carried Kahn's vanity Streetwave labels which was a huge PR mistake, the records looked cheap/budget label, the labels should have been PIR as on the Box Fronts The market just did not warm to the project and it sold so badly, The venture cost Kahn his company and he went under>>>>>>>>>However every cloud has a silver lining to someone>>>>>>>>The large quantity of bankrupt stock of these expensive 20 disc and 10 tape boxsets were sold on as a "get what we can" job lot to Our Price Records (UK then largest retailers).Our Price put the lot out at the amazing and unreal bargain price of £10 per set. When Sony acquired Columbia Inc, they put out a TV advertised tripple album retrospective set sadly most tracks were the radio and or single edits and paled against Kahn's box set. which naturally contained LCUTG in its full glory.......take it away Lou, clean it up, clean it up!
