DJ RedShadow started in 2005 with songwriting and was called SonikDK. Later, in 2009 starting with Djing and changed to SupahSonik. In 2012, was the group's breakup, changing it again to DJ RedShadow, due to an argument between the members getting ownership between the labels. In 2013, they reunited and are co-producing tracks together. Myujikku lives in London, while Brandon lives in Arizona.

Dare" (stylised as "DARE" and "挑戦 (DARE)") is a song by British virtual band Gorillaz, taken as the second single from their second studio album, Demon Days. The track is sung by Rosie Wilson (also known as Roses Gabor) with backing vocals from Damon Albarn and features vocals by Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder. It peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart in September 2005, becoming the band's only UK number one.
