After a multitude of obstacles, Carcinopest was released on a brand new Canadian label Gashed. Even though this CD was recorded back in 1996, the music still sounds as fresh and innovative as anything else out there. Carcinopest begins with Pay Off, a angry EBM piece with growling vocals, dominating rhythms, catastrophic samples, and rock-hard beats. Fade Away uses the same approach, but adds in the bonus element of metallic guitar riffs akin to KMFDM tracks, and choppy break-beats. The gem of Carcinopset.
