Kamelot - Siége Perilous flac album

Siége Perilous is the third full-length album released by the power metal band Kamelot. It was released on August 4, 1998, through Noise Records. It is the first album with Roy Khan (Conception) on vocals and Casey Grillo on drums, and is the final album to feature David Pavlicko on keyboards. In Arthurian legend, the Siege Perilous, otherwise known as "The Seat Perilous", is the seat at The Round Table reserved for the knight who would quest for and return the Holy Grail.

Kamelot is an American/European power metal band from Tampa, Florida, formed by Thomas Youngblood and Richard Warner in 1991.

Siege Perilous" might just have Kamelot's best guitar solos. Maybe this is a trend in Kamelot's song writing that each album has that thing that makes you go, "Oh, that's Kamelot!", but yet each album has a different sound and feel within the band's style.

With Kamelot's third studio album comes a major turning point in the bands history for two reasons. Number one being that with 'Siege Perilous', keyboards started to play a more pivotal role in the music, as opposed to previous releases where it was used sparingly in the background. Of course, that doesn't make this a bad album. Although there are a few rather forgettable tracks here, there are others that ooze of Kamelot's medieval-inspired charm. Songs like 'Providence', 'Parting Visions' and 'Irea' are all up there as some of the bands most memorable moments.
