The band formed in 1960. yesterday i made my annual visit to the liverpool pub to pay homage to one of the most enduring groups from the merseybeat era,the undertakers ented band of musicians on merseyside. soul,rock,funk instrumentals they do it al. wo fantastic sets played to a capacity crowd of all ages who showed. their appreciation with a standing ovation accompanied with chants of "brian brian brian". when old father time finally has his way and the show has to finish liverpool is going to be a poorer place without the undertakers.

The Undertakers sketch (written by Graham Chapman and John Cleese) is a comedy sketch from the 26th episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus, entitled "Royal Episode 13". Unable to prove ownership, the young man is then sentenced to prison where he's forced to do chain-gang type work. He escapes, is recaptured, and escapes again as he tries to locate the man who sold him the horses.
