High Contrast’s debut long player True Colours was released on Hospital to massive critical acclaim in June 2002, featuring tracks such as Return To Forever, Global Love and Make It Tonight, it has become a modern day classic for D+B fans new and old. In 2003 he was featured on Radio 1′s Essential Mix and in autumn 2004, the massive High Society LP was released, an album which features the anthemic singles Twilights Last Gleaming and Racing Green and was voted as one of the top 3 jungle albums of the last 10 years by Knowledge Magazine. Lincoln Barrett, better known by the stage name High Contrast (born 18 September 1979), is a Welsh electronic music producer DJ and record producer. Barrett was born in Penarth, near Cardiff and grew up more interested in films and film soundtracks rather than music; he cites Wendy Carlos's A Clockwork Orange soundtrack album and the Vangelis soundtrack for Blade Runner as defining musical influences

High Contrast Confidential is the fourth album and the second double album from the Welsh drum and bass producer High Contrast, released on April 27 2009 on the Hospital Records label. It is an assortment of handpicked songs he has written in the past. The first disc includes a premium selection of singles from his previous three albums; the second disc includes some of his remixes from the past. The Album Art contains aspects of High Contrast's previous albums.
