Talk about Ramos, Supreme & Sunset Regime Featuring Heidi - Life Force Generator II (Young Guns E.P.)

Terr
In my opinion Happy Hardcore had a couple of brief years in the scene where that the music being made was creditable and enjoyable, 1994 - 1996 and 1995 was probably the best year Happy Hardcore as a genre had.If you dig deep enough into any genre of music you always find those hidden gems and Higher and Higher on this release from Ramos, Supreme & Sunset Regime is an example of how good & well produced Happy Hardcore could be made without that horrible stigma that now attaches itself to the genre.I first heard this track "back in the day" on a Mix CD from DJ Dougal & Vinylgroover Live Feat: MC Paranoia and it was mixed with Billy Bunters - Take it from the Groove (Remix) and it took my head clean off.Everything about this track screams quality for Happy Hardcore from its pounding kicks, breakbeats and stab sounds at the beginning and end sections and one of the most uplifting Piano Vocal mid sections that I have ever heard, wicked short male vocal sounds and string sounds flying through this track make this a stand out record from a genre that was to descend into the mediocrity, over hyped rubbish that it is from around 1999 to present day, if you could even call it Happy Hardcore any more. This track and many others from that few years at the beginning should fall into the category of "Old Skool Happy Hardcore" and not be associated with the likes of today's so called Happy Hardcore. This track is a proper hairs standing to attention on the back of your neck tune! A reason to believe that Happy Hardcore can be well produced and enjoyable to listen to.
