Beethoven: Klassische Kostbarkeiten. 3. Allegro attaca - Allegro.

Ludwig van Beethoven (17 December 1770 – 26 March 1827) was a German composer and pianist. Composer: Beethoven, Ludwig van. Opus/Catalogue Number: Piano Sonata N., O. 4 N. Publisher Information: L. Beethoven. Publishing House Muzyka Moscow 1965.

In her comedy ‘Das Nachspiel’ the protagonist Leonore (!) sings, accompanying herself at the piano, the lied that Beethoven composed presumably for the première of the play at the Burgtheater in Vienna in 1800. So, not only was the question of the text model cleared up, but the previously conjectured time of origin could also be corrected from ‘ca. 1795’ to ‘probably 1800’ in the new works’ catalogue.

Ludwig van Beethoven (/ˈlʊdvɪɡ væn ˈbeɪt(h)oʊvən/ (listen); German: (listen); baptised 17 December 1770 – 26 March 1827) was a German composer and pianist. A crucial figure in the transition between the classical and romantic eras in classical music, he remains one of the most recognized and influential musicians of this period, and is considered to be one of the greatest composers of all time.

Ludwig van Beethoven (December 16, 1770 to March 26, 1827) was a German pianist and composer widely considered to be one of the greatest of all time. His innovative compositions combined vocals and instruments, widening the scope of sonata, symphony, concerto and quartet. He is the crucial transitional figure connecting the Classical and Romantic ages of Western music. In the end he produced a work that leaves no listeners cold - some are puzzled but a great many are deeply moved. Sometimes Beethoven could only proceed by stitching replacement pages into the manuscript. Beethoven authority Hans-Joachim Hinrichsen unveils the stages of its genesis in an understandable and rather detective-like manner. In addition Martina Rebmann explains how this and other autographs were gradually acquired for the Beethoven collection in the Berlin Staatsbibliothek. Reproduced in high-quality four-colour printing, the facsimile replicates the page stubs and fold-out pages, thereby emulating the feel of the original source.
