Four Year Strong is the fifth full-length album by American pop punk band Four Year Strong. It was their first full-length release since 2011's In Some Way, Shape, or Form. Described by vocalist/guitarist Dan O'Connor as being "one of the most raw records we've ever made, it's just us playing. No fancy computer shit. Made for singing along and head-banging. Go Down in History" was re-recorded for the album, with the original version appearing on the Go Down in History EP the previous year.

Enemy Of The World see’s Four Year Strong progressing and maturing. To me, their last album, Rise Or Die Trying, lacked in heaviness. That is not to say that it wasn’t heavy, but it seemed as though Four Year Strong wanted to stick to the poppy side of things. Though there was aggression, it felt as though it wasn’t being explored to its full potential. Four Year Strong seemed to be giving up early on a good thing. Enemy Of The World shows a change.

Four Year Strong has stumbled upon a sound that takes the catchiest elements from three different genres and bundles them up in a high-energy package that’s undeniably catchy. Alone, these styles have almost been done to death. By mixing them together, the band has created a dynamic sound that keeps the listener on their toes as they effortlessly shift from hardcore breakdowns to sweeping, half-time choruses.
