This DVD is an entire live performance from the band's European Walking With Strangers tour in 2007.

Show and Tell is the first live album by the Canadian band, The Birthday Massacre. E. It stayed on the Heatseekers chart for 3 weeks, Album artwork was created by illustrator and director Vincent Marcone of Johnny Hollow and MyPetSkeleton. com. The Album was recorded in a basement studio in Dundas, Ontario, hometown of Rainbow and M. Falcore.

The Birthday Massacre has come along way since their inception in 2000. Their last album Walking With Strangers was a major hit for the band and resulted in countless touring opportunities, not only as openers (for bands such as Mindless Self Indulgence) but for their own headlining tours as well. The intensity of their live shows was captured on film in late 2007 in Hamburg, Germany. A DVD version of Show And Tell will be released later this year, as well as a brand new studio album.

SHOW AND TELL is the first live album released by Canadian nica act the Birthday Massacre. Recorded in Germany in 2007, the album is an excellent teaser to the surreal, romanticized world of this band. It's produced so crisply that, were it not for the inter-song banter, one would swear this was a studio album. In the process, the Birthday Party have tapped into a sound that is both sultry and infectious.

The only demographic that Show and Tell might really be worth anything to is the people that have never heard this band. The songs are re-created pretty well and the album does have a great sound so it would work as a solid representation of their discography. They would get a chance to hear the appealing, occasionally dark, vocals of Chibi and her cute, macabre lyrics. Again, live albums are hard to judge and this offering from The Birthday Massacre is no different. It’s executed flawlessly and works as an excellent representation of the band’s discography but there’s still no appeal for an interested fan. There’s nothing on this album that isn’t done just a little bit better on the studio albums, which effectively renders it wholly unnecessary.
