Luba (born Lubomyra Kowalchyk (Ukrainian: Любомира Ковальчук), April 24, 1958) is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter and recording artist from Quebec. She was professionally active from 1980 to 1990, 2000 to 2001 and is active again from 2007 to present. Kowalchyk was born in Montreal, Quebec, and is of Ukrainian descent. Luba performed with the band Zorya, which released a self-titled album in 1973.
