The lute concerto in D major, RV 93, is one of four works featuring the solo lute written by Antonio Vivaldi. Vivaldi wrote the piece in the 1730s, a period in which he wrote two of his other works featuring the lute, the trios for violin and lute in G minor and C major. The concerto is in three movements: Allegro. The first movement is in a fast tempo and begins with a ritornello played by the violins and then repeated by the solo lute

Volume 1 of Vivaldi' complete sacred music features the impressive if less familiar of the two settings of the Gloria, RV 588, the second setting of the Vespers Psalm Dixit Dominus, and Nulla in mundo pax sincera, used with striking effect in the film. For anyone wanting to start exploring the byways of Vivaldi's sacred music, this disc would make an excellent start. The Aradia Ensemble are fine stylists and the results are lively attractive performances  . Sample this album Artist (Sample).

Nagor
I have a lot of direct to disc recordings and they're mostly garbage. This one is an overlooked gem- great selection, excellent sound.
