Beyond the Sun is the eleventh studio album by Chris Isaak, released through Vanguard Records on October 18, 2011. It is a collection of songs recorded by Sun Records artists Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Some of the songs were originally released on Sun Records. The record itself was recorded at Sun Studio, Memphis, Tennessee.

In 2011, Chris Isaak recaptured that magic in his album, Beyond the Sun. The deluxe version of the album consists of 25 tracks honoring some of the most iconic music that came from Sun Studio. There are also two original songs written by Isaak. Chris Isaak even has a track on it - his cover of It Wouldn’t Be The Same Without You. And though this record is full of wonderful artists, the tracks are, for the most part, covered in the artists’ own style and not quite the authentic sound that Isaak captured for his 2011 record. Given Chris Isaak’s style - which is highly-influenced by the Sun Studio era - it makes more sense then that Beyond the Sun feels like a better representation. Chris Isaak grew up in California idolizing the Million Dollar Quartet and other legendary artists nurtured by Sun Records visionary Sam Phillips. He never abandoned those roots, even as he climbed the charts with hits like Wicked Game and gained wider fame as a film and television actor. The results - recorded mostly at Sun Studio in Memphis - are documented in his new Vanguard Records album, Beyond the Sun, which makes its debut on October 18. Beyond the Sun will be offered in three trims: a single 14-track set with Sun-drenched gems such as Ring of Fire, "Great Balls of Fire and I Walk the Line ; a deluxe package with a second 11-track set that includes My Baby Left Me and Lovely Loretta ; and a double-vinyl album (with all the deluxe tracks) scheduled for release.

Wicked Game is a compilation album by American singer and songwriter Chris Isaak, released in 1991 by WEA on the Reprise Records label in the UK, Europe and Australia. The record contains 11 songs from his first three albums.
