Ottawan was a pop music duo, who had the hit singles ". and "Hands Up (Give Me Your Heart)" in the early 1980s. Fronted by Caribbean-born Patrick Jean-Baptiste and Annette Eltice, they were masterminded through a cooporation between French producer Daniel Vangarde and Belgian producer Jean Kluger. In 1979, Ottawan was founded by record producers Daniel Vangarde and Jean Kluger and fronted by male singer Patrick Jean-Baptiste and female singer Annette Eltice.

Patrick Baptiste left the group because he was accused of never being involved in the production of the Ottawan album. He tried to start a career as a solo artist as Ottman Jones with no success. In 1992 he tried to make his come back as Ottawan under the new name Pam 'n Pat because he could not get the rights to perform as Ottawan again.
