Moran Mazor, 21 years old from Israel, will represent her country at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö with the ballad Rak Bishvilo. She tells to us her own story. I was born and grew up in Holon a suburb next to Tel Aviv. Recently I was chosen to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö and now my first album is coming out which I am very proud of. The last few months were very successful and exciting for me! For me to take part in this amazing Eurovision Song Contest is a dream come true.

Moran Mazor was born in May 1991 near Tel Aviv. She is descended from Georgian immigrants to the country and is still interested in culture from that part of Europe. Whilst growing up, she took a special interested in learning to play the piano before turning her hand to singing. Moran first came to the wider public’s attention after winning the talent show Eyal Golan is calling you in 2011. This led her to produce an album with Eyal himself, recording original songs. Performing in Eurovision is a dream come true for Moran, and she feels deeply honoured to be representing her country.
