Lauren White: At Last. Musical suspicions are immediately raised when jazz singer Lauren White is described as a cross between Linda Ronstadt and Norah Jones. White is a twenty year-old native of Grapevine, Texas; a child prodigy singer from age four. Now for the good news. This is one impressive debut session. A jolt of familiarity follows with "Blue Bayou," but then she provides a poignant original, Do You Remember.

Lauren White is one of a seemingly increasing number of vocalists attempting to follow in the footsteps of the highly successful vocalist Norah Jones. Though White has got some jazz chops and a pleasing voice, her debut CD is rather inconsistent, covering standards, pop songs, country and originals. The best tracks feature her with pianist Bill Cunliffe (who knows a thing or two about accompanying singers), while bassist Chuck Berghofer and drummer Mark Ferber lay a solid foundation throughout the album

Weezer, also known as the White Album, is the tenth studio album and fourth self-titled album by American rock band Weezer, released on April 1, 2016. The album marks their first produced by Jake Sinclair. It is the first release through Crush Music and was distributed by Atlantic Records.

Lauren White is an extremely talented 20-year old from Texas who has been studying under the same vocal coach as Norah Jones. Lauren's first album features a wide array of songs, the album opens with a Billie Holiday styled tune My One & Only, then drops to the darker overtones of the Anthony Wilson arranged Love For Sale, and transitions into a swinging Mack The Knife. This album also includes memorable covers of popular songs like Blue Bayou (Roy Orbison), Superstar (Carpenters), and to the country influenced, Why They Call It Falling (Lee Ann Womack).
