Jimmy Richards(born James Richard McKee in Glasgow, 1989) is a Scottish singer/songwriter and producer. His sound is partly influenced by Folk Punk artists like Al Baker and Frank Turner, as well as contemporary Scottish indie pop groups like The Vaselines, The Pearlfishers and Arab Strap. Richards began writing music seriously in 2005, at which time he was a member of Glaswegian Grunge-Rock act Stacked Actors, until a move to Ayr in September 2007 forced him to leave the band in December of that year.
