Deluxx is Mark Perretta on guitars, vocals, and tape loops, and Bob Fay on drums and vocals. They recorded over a two-and-a-half-year period, and assembled the result into an album after the fact. Nothing fits with lo-fi better than more lo-fi, so it works as a seamless whole. Lyrics are impossible to decipher, but occasionally leap out or are alluded to by their titles. The opening number, "Caught Ya Fartin'" uses Spirit's durable "I Got a Line on You" riff.
