Back to the Future: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the film of the same name. It was released on July 8, 1985 by MCA Records. The album included two tracks culled from Alan Silvestri's compositions for the film, two tracks from Huey Lewis and the News, two songs played by the fictional band Marvin Berry and The Starlighters, one played by Marty McFly and The Starlighters, and two pop songs that are only very briefly heard in the background of the film.

This is a fun, solid soundtrack album. It has songs from Back to the Future(1985). It also has two tracks of Alan Silvestri's music score. We get to hear two uncut versions of Huey Lewis and the News songs from the movie. People claim the annoying music in Back to the Future The Nintendo Game is Huey Lewis' The Power of Love! The animated Back to the Future on CBS had a cover of Back in Time. I love the "Back to the Future" trilogy and for some reason I never bought this album before now. It was a great price for 10 songs. I love "Power of Love" and "Back in Time" and they sound even better on this CD versus listening to the songs on the radio. The overture/music from the soundtrack is great and brings back great memories of seeing the movie for the first time when I listen to this CD. I don't remember track from the movie at all and it is kind of weird.
