Casablanca Records Story. Featuring four discs of original single versions and 12" mixes, The Casablanca Records Story features most of the best music the label released, even though it probably could have been more effectively compiled on two or three discs. Nevertheless, there is plenty of fine, even seminal, music here, which makes it essential for serious disco collectors.

Casablanca Records Story By Mike Callahan, Patrice Eyries, and David Edwards Last update: February 15, 2006. Things on the album side weren't much better. Kiss hopped on the charts in April, and made it to a decent if not spectacular showing. Parliament's first album, Up for the Down Stroke initially didn't chart at all.
