Propaganda is the fourth album by the American rock group Sparks. The album followed its predecessor Kimono My House by half a year and was a successful album in the UK and US. It reached on the UK Album Chart(which would remain their second highest album chart position in the UK for nearly 43 years until pushed down into third place by Hippopotamus in 2017) and on the Billboard 200 (and remains their highest peak in that country).

Randy Sparks (b. 29 July 1933, Leavenworth, Kansas) is a musician, singer-songwriter and founder of The New Christy Minstrels and The Back Porch Majority. Sparks grew up in Oakland, California and attended the University of California at Berkeley. his first musical engagement was at the Purple Onion in San Francisco. In the late 1950s he had a solo career and released two albums on the Verve label, a self-titled album in 1958 and Walking the Low Road in 1959
