The Rolling Stones is the debut album by the Rolling Stones, released by Decca Records in the UK on 16 April 1964. The album is included in Robert Dimery's 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

and the new millennium that still sees them doing great live shows. The last official album was A Bigger Bang from 2005, and they've more or less stopped making new stuff since. The Beatles quit the concerts to concentrate on the studio. The Stones, being the live band they always were, quit the studio to concentrate on the concerts.

24, 1936, Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman has been called laid back, stoic and reserved. He has also been called one of the greatest bass players rock 'n' roll has ever known. His subtle yet highly effective playing was the pulse of the band through their finest hours. He, along with drummer Charlie Watts, provided the perfect rhythm section for the raunchy rock 'n' roll the band is best known for. These are the Top 10 Rolling Stones Bill Wyman Songs. From: 'Sticky Fingers' (1971)  . Monkey Man" is a brooding masterpiece from the Let It Bleed album, and deserves to be among the Top 10 Rolling Stones Bill Wyman Songs. The bassist is front and center and his subtle yet effective bass lines work their magic on this 1969 classic. Monkey Man" is one of the band's, and Wyman's, best performances.

He spent almost all his waking hours talking with the press about his new record, Stone Alone, and his relationship with the Stones, or listening to mixes. Often he did both at the same time. In addition to the R&B-flavored tracks, the album includes a Louis Armstrong jazz number, a country song, a blues piece, some rock & roll and a reggae number. After I cut my reggae, I received a telegram from Jimmy Cliff, Wyman said. Instead, Wyman is turning his non-Stones thoughts toward production. I’ve had some very lucrative offers for production that only a person who was crazy would turn down. But I’ve had to say that I’m too busy right now.

The early 60s blues scene was a purists’ movement, but their second album demonstrates how eclectic and boundary-blurring the early Stones were, boldly defining a space of their own somewhere between blues, rock’n’roll and soul, amping up the pace and the attitude of each to thrilling effect. 10. Blue & Lonesome (2016). At the point where even the most committed fan despaired of them ever making an unequivocally great album.
