For the last twelve years The Pheromoans have occupied their own peculiar niche in the UK's DIY music scene. Initially known for primitive garage-esque repetition on their early releases, two LPs for Upset! The Rhythm saw the group develop a more pastoral sound before being mutated by electronics on 2016's 'I'm On Nights'. The penultimate piece, Ultra Skies, offers the clearest trace of The Pheromoans' past. County Lines’ is released on the 31st of May on Transparent Orange Vinyl and Download formats.

Pheromoans release their latest album drawing comparisons to Joy Division and The Fall and featuring the brilliant Grab A Chair. The recipe for this album appears to be: a) take one kitchen sink, b) throw everything into it. It’s a mash of sounds. It almost feels like it should not work. However, it does most of the time. They aren’t too far off with that really. But, they almost sound like a bunch of guys who are just too darn lazy to have any influences, so whatever comes out of them just comes out of them, and there you have it and that is that!
