From Beyond is the debut album by Massacre released in 1991 on Earache Records. The album was re-released with a different cover (original is red) and the Inhuman Condition EP as bonus tracks. Corpsegrinder" was originally recorded by the band, Death, which all members of Massacre have been a part of in the past. The cover art was painted by Ed Repka and was based on the short story of the same name, written by H. P. Lovecraft.

From Beyond ‎(Cass, Album). Valentine Sound Productions. Every great sounding Death Metal album of the late 80's and 90's was either produced by Colin Richardson or Scott Burns but for whatever reason they decided to work together for the debut album by Massacre and so it was produced by Colin Richardson and engineered by Scott Burns which I believe is a huge reason as to the amazing sound.

"Corpsegrinder" is not a Death cover. It was written by Rick Rozz when he was in Death and then re-recorded it with Massacre. Music video: - Chamber of Ages. Recording information: Recorded at Morrisound Recording, March 1991. Produced by Colin Richardson and Massacre

Band Name Massacre (USA). Album Name From Beyond. Дата релиза 01 Июль 1991. Лейблы Earache Records. Their debut album 'From Beyond' was released in 1991 (but many of the tracks were written in the 80s, hence the slightly dated sound by this point), and ignoring the garish cover for a second, is a pretty apt descriptor of the early death metal sound. Opening track 'Dawn of Eternity' has, for me, a classic intro of a howling wind and tolling bell, and it instantly captures that early 90s atmosphere; trying to make everything sound evil.

From Beyond (1991) by Massacre. Labels: Earache Records. Genres: Death Metal Members: Kam Lee, Rick Rozz, Terry Butler, Bill Andrews. Album (Studio full-length).
