Mad; Bad; and Dangerous to Know is the second studio album by The Cross, released in 1990. In contrast to debut Shove it, the album is a rock album and is a more collaborate effort with each band member contributing to the songwriting. Guitarist Clayton Moss sings lead vocals on "Better Things". Following poor sales in the UK, the band were dropped by EMI.

Taylor played almost all the instruments on Shove It and wrote the music as well, which veered toward a fusion of hard rock and dance influences. Unfortunately, the drum programming sounds very cheap and the whole project sounds quite rushed with thin instrumentation and basic synth lines. While great lyrics were never Taylor's specialty, those featured on the album are quite poor ("VIP's and royalty get treated like they're special see/But the trick is there for all to see/They're people just like you and me").

For The Cross album, see Shove It. "Big spin" redirects here. For the television game show, see The Big Spin. A shove-it is performed by standing on the board, jumping up a bit and scooping the tail down and to its side. Even though the tail should not touch the ground and the board should not lift off the ground more than about an inch, the board should quickly spin 180 degrees

Shove It (The Cross). Mad Bad & Dangerous to Know (The Cross). Blue Rock (The Cross). Fun on Earth (new album + 2 new tracks for physical box only). On 25 January 1987 the ‘Shove It’ album was released in the UK and reached number 58 in the charts. All 8 tracks were written by Roger, and so too was an additional track (for the CD version only) ‘The 2nd Shelf Mix’. The album cover design was conceived by Roger and Gary Wathen and features a photograph of the band taken by Sheila Rock. The ‘Shove It’ title came from a phrase often used at the time by Roger’s personal assistant, but was also Roger’s standard retort to the press during this period, when prying into his personal life. Two musical guests were featured on the album; fellow Queen.

The first album, Shove It, was released in 1987. The set list was: In Charge of My Heart, Top of the World Ma, Cowboys and Indians, Heaven for Everyone, Liar, Sister Blue, Final Destination, Man on Fire, Ain´t Put Nothing Down, Power to Love, Dirty Mind, and New Dark Ages.

The band formed in London in 1970 after May and Taylor's former band Smile split after having released an album and single. Freddie replaced lead vocalist Tim Staffell, after the latter's departure from the original trio. There was much deliberation as to what the band's name would be.
