This repress version is on a Columbia six "eye" label style that shows a slight variation in the bottom rim text that occurred in 1958. TM" has been removed and the "walking eye" logo was moved to the left of the "LP" logo at the bottom. This rim text remained on the six "eye" label until it was replaced by the two "eye" label in 1962. This pressing has a large deep groove press ring, but no discernible press mark in the run-outs.

Faith became a staple of American popular music in the 1950s and continued well into the 1960s. Though his professional orchestra-leading career began at the height of the swing era, Faith refined and rethought orchestration techniques, including use of large string sections, to soften and fill out the brass-dominated popular music of the 1940s. Faith was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He was the oldest of eight children. His parents, Abraham Faith and Minnie née Rottenberg, were Jewish. He played violin and piano as a child, and played in theatres and at Massey Hall

Best track on it is 'Liza (All The Clouds'll Roll Away". Ruby Keeler sang and danced to it in the 1928 Ziegfeld production "Show Girl". It is said her husband, Al Jolson, would run up and down the aisles singing the refrain to his wife. Could be an urban legend, but sounds like something Jolson would do.
