With 24 Horas, the second album with Habana Abierta, an eclectic line was followed with some tracks from previous recordings, with a more defined fusion between popular Cuban music and funk, reggae and hip-hop. Rock and Pop Cuban-style with national roots: Van Van by Juan Fromel, Irakere by Chucho Valdés or NG la Banda by José Luis Cortés, refrains attributed to Matamoros over Red Hot Chili Peppers or Rolling Stones riffs. Three of its members have recorded solo albums: Kelvis Ochoa recorded "Kelvis", Boris Larramendi "Yo no tengo la culpa" and Luis Barbería, "Luis Barbería". Kelvis Ochoa and Boris Larramendi were also the singers of Habana Blues Band, the band created after the success of the movie "Habana Blues" (Benito Zambrano), winner of a Best Soundtrack Goya Award in 2006.

Boris Larramendi was born in Cuba in 1970. Around 1990, he was one of the founding members of the mythical "13 y 8 Peña" where he began to write and perform his own songs. In 1995, he participated with his band "Debajo" in the recording of "Habana Oculta", an anthology of young Cuban songwriters produced by Pável Urkiza and Gema Corredera. As a soloist, he has recorded 5 albums, "Yo no tengo la culpa" 2002, "Libre" 2009, "Felicidad" 2010, "La Cibertimba & El Bárbaro" 2013, and "Samurai" 2018, and on the last four of them he also has written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered all of the songs. While in Habana Abierta he collaborated with a lot of artists, such Ana Belén, Lucrecia, Bebo Valdés, Alain Pérez, Raimundo Amador etc.
