Green River is the third studio album by American rock and roll band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released in August 1969. It was the second of three albums they released in that year, the first one being Bayou Country (their second release overall) which was released in January. In 2003, Green River was ranked number 95 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
