ReVamp is the self-titled 2010 debut by Dutch progressive metal act ReVamp. The album was released in Sweden and Finland on 26 May 2010, in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Spain on the 28 May 2010, and the rest of Europe on 31 May 2010. It was released in United States on 27 July 2010. The album is the first release by lead singer Floor Jansen since her previous band After Forever's self-titled album of 2007.

ReVamp is the self-titled 2010 debut by Dutch progressive metal act ReVamp.

ReVamp’s overall sound is much heavier and darker than After Forever. The Dutch band has really pushed symphonic metal into a whole new realm. I feel that the band was put together very fast and came out with an album too soon. It would have been better if they took more time in perfecting their songs and practicing more times, as well as more thoroughly.

Revamp will be accompanied by another new album, Restoration, a equivalent featuring big names in country music such as Emmylou Harris and Willie Nelson. Elton John recently announced his retirement from live performing, but not before her completes a final, three-year long world tour. View Elton John's full UK chart history here. As it turned out, the classically trained Dutch singer continued to embrace goth metal - and this self-titled debut album by ReVamp, the band Jansen formed in 2009, isn't a radical departure from the songs that she performed during her 12 years with After Forever. ReVamp favor a slightly heavier approach than After Forever, but the basic recipe is pretty much the same: goth metal with an obvious classical influence (Jansen's classical training is impossible to miss) and very symphonic leanings.
