Mighty High, Brooklyn’s regressive rock act, will be releasing their new album Legalize Tre Bags on June 12, 2012. 11 kick ass songs bashed out in 34 minutes and containing over 30 references to getting high. Mighty High feel that the tre bag needs to not only come back, but be legalized allowing people an affordable escape from reality. Since the release o. n Drug City, Mighty High released the two song Drops A Deuce 7″ single in 2009 on Mint Deluxe, a split 7″ with Stone Axe on Ripple Music and contributed a song to the double 7″ Ripple compilation Heavy Ripples with fellow regressive rockers Grifter, Stone Axe and Sun Gods In Exile.

70’s rock preservationists Stone Axe contribute a cover version of the Mos Generator tune, Nightwolf ; Sun Gods in Exile, on loan from the incomparable Small Stone Records, turn in the southern-tinged Over My Broken Bones ; the UK’s dirty grit-rockers Grifter offer up two tracks, Small Man Syndrome and the tongue-in-cheek nod to porn legend Ron Jeremy, Hey. First pressing is limited to 500 copies.

Originally released on the Heavy Ripples double split 7" on Ripple Music that also featured Stone Axe, Mighty High and Sun Gods In Exile. This download contains the Grifter tracks only. High and Mighty is the ninth studio album by British hard rock band Uriah Heep, released in 1976 by Bronze Records in the UK and Warner Bros. Records in the US. High and Mighty was the last Uriah Heep album to feature vocalist and founding member David Byron, who was subsequently fired due to his troubles with alcohol (he later died in 1985).
