The fourth full-length album by Swedish band Ghost, Prequelle, is the first to introduce the band’s new leader, Cardinal Copia. Though Ghost has changed of ‘leader’ for every album release, this is usually simply a physical change in appearance, as Tobias Forge is always the man behind the mask; nonetheless, this time there’s someone else on the costume. The album revolves around the middle ages with themes such as death, wrath, and destruction. Forge told Revolver: It is loosely themed around the concept of death and doom.
