Even though Sage is from Oregon, he sings in a New York-style slur not dissimilar to Joey Ramone. Throughout the album, there is a very dark and ominous feel to the material (. "D-7"), but it's made interesting on tracks like "Alien Boy," which changes from 4/4 time to 2/4 time. Sage also has a unique guitar style where he strums chords and lets them sustain into feedback, which creates rich textures in the songs (. "Potential Suicide" and "Don't Know What I Am").

Mystery takes the spot of being the best song on the album, followed closely by Alien Boy, which was a minor hit. It's a punk rock record, but has unexpected melody and allure, giving off a hint of New Wave influence, like that of the Talking Heads. Sage's vocals and lyrics are at most times, haunting. With topics of confusion and alienation, it sometimes creates a dark mood. Henry's drumming is interesting, they aren't as loud or intense as a lot of other punk rock songs, but they really do get the job done, and quite well at that

Talk about Wipers - Is This Real?

I have a copy which is severely off-centered on the side A. Sounds really out of tune even for punk rock record. Side B is fine.
I have a misprint of this. Both of the labels are of "Side +". Anyone else have one?
