I Break Horses are a Swedish indie rock band made up of Maria Lindén and Fredrik Balck. The band took its name from a song of the same name by Bill Callahan. I Break Horses' debut studio album Hearts was released on 22 August 2011 on Bella Union. I Break Horses accompanied M83 on an American tour. It accompanied Sigur Rós on tour in 2013.

The Swedish duo I Break Horses make a form of synthetic shoegaze that aims to prove just how comforting and soothing shoegaze can actually be. Their 2011 debut Hearts was a minor heartbreaker, and while they have yet to announce any plans for a follow-up, they’re about to drop a new white-label single with a couple of new songs. One of those songs is Denial, a softly sweeping song that moves the group away from shoegaze and toward straight-up synthpop. The Denial single is coming soon from Bella Union.
