Influenced by bands such as Autopsy, Death, Atheist, Dismember, and Morbid Angel, they try to re-create the atmosphere of the great bands from the early 90's and still have their own feel and style. I really think they have succeeded in this. Abrahamithic Curse opens up with Shrine of the I Part 1, it is slow paced and angry. It then proceeds to throw you into a pit of awful horrors.

Mass Obliteration was started in 2006 by two cousins, Andrea Lisi (vocals, bass) and Luca Zamberti (drums). After filling out the band, they self-produced one EP in 2007 called Abrahamithic Curse, and earlier this year they gave birth to a second, called Fratricide. The four songs on Fratricide are loaded with massively downtuned, dissonant guitars that grind and scrape and steamroll the landscape in complex rhythmic patterns, plus occasional brief guitar solos that erupt like an acetylene torch.

Mass Obliteration begin in 2006 in Rome, with the aim of building a solid death metal beast, and looking for, since the very first rehearsals, a unique approach in what is to be considered extreme. The path they chose is made of honesty and true passion, no limits in experimenting how to push forward the deepest feelings of rage and obscurity this genre represents

The curse of Ham, which more accurately should be known as the curse upon Ham's son Canaan, was imposed by the biblical patriarch Noah.
