Album Mountain Sounds. Mountain Sounds Lyrics. Would you remember my name If I packed all my thing, never saw me again Would you remember that day That we laid in the rain Oh, oh. And the water’s too cold For you, for me And I’ve had too many nightmares To get lost in my dreams anymore. So pass me another drink, babe Hoping it’ll go away I found myself where I lost my mind Baby don’t run away Oh, oh. And now that you’re gone I will enjoy and stay, oh Think of me when those rose petals fall under your yeah ‘Cause I’ve been getting drunk baby, just trying to forget about those days, ‘bout those. So pass me another drink, babe Hoping it’ll go away I found myself where I lost my mind Baby don’t run away. All I hear is mountain sounds (repeat). Mountain Sounds" Track Info. Written By John Vincent III.
Album: Rocky Mountain High (1972). Charted: 9. Get the Sheet Music License This Song. It was just what the piece needed. When I realized what I had - another anthem, maybe; a true expression of one's self, maybe - we changed the sequencing of the album we'd just completed, and then we changed the album title. Some of the references in the lyrics: "He was born in the summer of his 27th year" - John was 27 that summer. Coming home to a place he'd never been before" - He and Annie had just made Aspen home.
Mountain Movers (2017) by Mountain Movers, released 05 May 2017 1. I Could Really See Things 2. Everyone Cares 3. Intro 4. Angels Don't Worry 5. Vision Television 6. Unknown Hours The Mountain Movers have, over the course of five albums and a decade’s worth of LPs, CDs, 7-inches, CDrs, and cassettes steadily become New Haven’s best kept secret; a band capable of lurching between melancholic indie rock, strident garage/psych and pummeling guitar freak-fuckery. Mountain Movers starts off with the dark, stormy fourteen minute track I Could Really See Things. Fading into view with a scree of feedback, the drums and bass start to pound and pummel until the song lurches forward, lumbering purposefully toward slashes of guitar improvisation (courtesy of lead guitarist Battalene of Colorguard and Headroom whose playing evokes the lava soaked fingers of Mizutani and Keiji Heino).
