The untitled eighth studio album by American nu metal band Korn was released on July 31, 2007, through Virgin Records and is the first and only album as a three piece band without longtime drummer David Silveria.

This album is in homage to the visual novel it is titled after - the project has a long-running history of taking video games as the inspiration and impetus behind its walls, often producing "wall reworks" of the soundtracks. This is perhaps considered by some an unorthodox approach to HNW but it is done here with noticeable dedication and a love for both wall noise and the game in question. how HNW, seemingly cold and mechanical, has many ties with the naturalistic. This album spent too, too long in draft and for that, Paolo, you have my supremest apologies, know that going forwards this release will be the wavecrest of what I hope to be a continuous tidal barrage of HNW upon the listener.
