Origins is the fourth studio album by the American pop rock band Imagine Dragons, released on November 9, 2018 by Kidinakorner, Polydor Records and Interscope Records. The album was produced by the band members themselves, frequent collaborator Alex da Kid, Mattman & Robin, John Hill, Joel Little, Tim Randolph, and Jayson DeZuzio, who produced a majority of the band's previous effort, Evolve (2017), as well as Jorgen Odegard

Intended to be a single for an album called "Monuments.

For Origins, Dragons’ producers Alex da Kid and Mattman & Robin have tamped down the epic flourishes and thudding bottom end that marked this album’s predecessor, Evolve, resulting in a more direct sound and message, particularly on Natural, a broad and booming, fist-raising anthem ripe with world weary warnings such as Nothing ever comes without a consequence or cost. Thus, the album finds Imagine Dragons traveling lighter musically while not losing any of their broad perspective.

Origins is the fourth studio album by the American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons. The album was first discovered on 3 October, 2018 when pictures of the album briefly appeared in the band’s shop which were taken down after a few hours on the site. Though characterized as a sister album to Evolve, Origins differs greatly by the sheer distinction between the standard and deluxe version of the album. The deluxe album only adds four tracks, three of which were unbeknownst before the album’s release. The final track of the album, Born to Be Yours with Kygo, is Imagine Dragons' first collaboration to make it on an album. How did this album come together so quickly?

Barely a year since the release of their hit album Evolve, Imagine Dragons are back with plenty more to say on their fourth record, Origins. The Las Vegas rockers have teamed up again with London-born producer Alex da Kid (who was behind the controls for the 2012 breakthrough single Radioactive plus three tracks on Evolve), and Swedish on duo Mattman &.
