Blackout (Britney Spears album). Blackout is the fifth studio album by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on October 25, 2007, by Jive Records and the Zomba Label Group. Opting to re-establish her music career after her fourth studio album, In the Zone (2003), she began planning the project in 2006. Work continued into 2007, during which time Spears' much-publicized personal struggles, including several instances of erratic behavior and her divorce from Kevin Federline overshadowed her professional endeavors.

He purchased Britney Spears Blackout cd for my 27th birthday (yes I am showing my age). The song Heaven on Earth by Britney Spears on this collection symbolizes one of the positive and multiple concepts that expresses how I feel about my husband. That positive memory coupled with a multiple number of memorable songs on this Blackout collection makes the music from Blackout by Britney Spears enjoyable to listen to even after all of this time. This Blackout collection is one of those music collections where a multiple number of songs are fun to listen to and many of the tracks have a club andor. This album is pretty much about the pleasure principle. No pun intended on Janet Jackson's song. I've never been much of a Britney fan, but this album makes for good dance music.
