Dave King (born 11 December 1961) is an Irish vocalist. He is currently a member of the band Flogging Molly, of which he is a founding member. He first gained notability as the original lead singer of hard rock band Fastway in the 1980s. King grew up in a small two-room flat in Beggars Bush, Dublin tenement that had once been part of Beggars Bush Barracks. When he was around the age of six or seven his parents bought him a guitar.

King David is a 1985 American epic historical drama film about the life of the second King of the Land of Israel, David. The film was directed by Bruce Beresford, produced by Martin Elfand and written by Andrew Birkin.

By the time they issued their 1968 single 'Molly Barr' b/w 'Canticles To Jello', Hess was already an established and successful songwriter, most notably penning the classic 'All Shook Up' in 1957, which was of course made famous by Elvis Presley. In 1963, Hess wrote and recorded 'Speedy Gonzalez', which became a #1 single for Pat Boone, selling more than eight million copies worldwide.In the early 1970s, Hess went into acting, most notably starring as bad guy Krug Stillo in Wes Craven's cult horror movie 'The Last House on the Left'.
