Delta 5 - Shadow flac album

Delta 5 was an English post-punk band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The original members of Delta 5, Julz Sale (vocals/guitar), Ros Allen (bass) and Bethan Peters (bass), formed the band "on a lark", but soon became a part of the thriving Leeds post-punk scene, and later added Kelvin Knight on drums and Alan Riggs on guitar.

The album came out somtime late in 1981 and we went to Holland in October - I decided it was time to leave when we got back - I think Julz and then Kelvin left and Bethan & Ros made one more single with new personnel before calling it a day in 1982. The early days were the best and although we did argue a lot, (what band doesn't!), we also had a lot of laughs - for a couple of years we got to play live and make some records, and then that was enough. Delta 5 – The Recording. he first time we found ourselves in a recording studio was a demo for FICTION records the label Chris Parry started when Polydor passed on The Cure we recorded YOU and MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS but Chris passed on u. he MYOB/NOW THAT YOU’VE GONE single was recorded at The Workhouse on Old Kent road (the brown one in monopoly). Recorded at RAK studios St Johns Wood we had signed to PRE (Charisma) which gave us a decent budget to record the album. when I floated the possibility of Delta 5 reforming for a few gigs to promote the album and remixes Ros replied I think that says it all.
