The Beatles, also known as "The White Album", is the ninth studio album by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 22 November 1968. A double album, its plain white sleeve has no graphics or text other than the band's name embossed, which was intended as a direct contrast to the vivid cover artwork of the band's previous LP Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The Beatles Story is a museum in Liverpool about the Beatles and their history. It is located on the historical Albert Dock. The Beatles Story was opened on 1 May 1990. The Beatles Story contains recreations of The Casbah Coffee Club, The Cavern Club and Abbey Road Studios among other historical Beatles items, such as John Lennon's spectacles, George Harrison's first guitar and a detailed history about the British Invasion and the solo careers of every Beatle.

The Beatles (commonly known as The White Album) is the eponymous tenth studio album by English rock band The Beatles.

The Beatles or "The White album" as it became better known was released on 22nd November, 1968 on the fifth anniversary of their second album, With The Beatles. A total of 34 new tracks were released in 1968 and 30 were contained on this one double-LP. Recording began at Abbey Road on 30th May and studio work occupied most of their time until the final.

Playing live finally began to take its toll on the band after four years of constant recording, touring and over 1,400 live appearances, with their last performance to the public at Candlestick Park, San Francisco in August 1966. With no plans for further shows, The Beatles took to the studio with a more experimental approach to their music
