This album largely duplicates Duke Ellington & His Orchestra/Johnny Hodges & His Orchestra (Storyville), featuring six of the seven selections performed by the Duke Ellington Orchestra for a half-hour television special. However it is the additional material that is of greatest interest, for Duke Ellington is also heard solo in 1966 playing a lengthy medley of his popular numbers and a version of "New World A-Comin'. For that reason this recording is preferred over the other Storyville set.
